How does your work differ from Swedish and Deep Tissue styles of massage?
My work is focused on helping you achieve better structural balance and improving the functions at various joints. I may use various techniques that more closely resemble manual therapy and physical therapy.  While clients may experience a sense of relaxation, this is typically not my focus.

What should I bring to my session?
I work with clients in various positions and without drapes.  Because of this, you should bring minimal clothing that you are comfortable being exposed in and that offers access to most of your body's musculature. Clients typically  wear swimsuits, underwear, or athletic gear (running shorts, sports bra, etc.).

Is public transit nearby?
Yes. My financial district office is steps from the BART and MUNI rail lines as well as numerous market street buses and cable cars. The SOMA office location is accessible from 47, 27 and 9 MUNI Bus lines.

Is there parking at your office?
There is no reserved parking in the financial district, but there are many garages in the neighborhood that cost around $3/15-minutes. The most affordable option is the Sutter/Stockton or MOMA garages, an 8 minute walk from the office. The SOMA location does have reserved parking available. Call DIAKADI Body at 415-863-4922 for information about their lot. Street parking is also fairly easy to come by at this location.

Do you accept insurance or bill insurance companies?
I do not currently accept any medical insurance.  I am able to bill for motor vehicle accident claims and can also provide you with a receipt that you can submit for compensation from a flexible spending or health savings account.

What is your cancellation policy?
I require at least 24 hours of notice in order to cancel an appointment. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours, and no-shows, are subject to a fee equal to 100% of the cost of service cancelled.
